Introduction:-Eklakhi Kishalaya Vidyapith. The name would not get its fame unless a dream would come up in someone's mind quite few years earlier that was suppressed as subdued excitement making the dreamer to pass his days on restlessness. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam has perfectly said, "A dream is not that what one enjoys while sleeping but is that what does not allow one to sleep." These great words had perfectly taken shape far before when a young man of Eklakhi became restless to bring his dream into reality. The great poet Ralph Waldo Emerson nicely quoted in the poem "Fabel" that talent differ. But someone kept his latent talent preserved to bring forth once later. The journey began in late 2014 when the first step taken by the dreamer, a well-known reputed person of the village Mr.Tapankr.Tewari, by opening a school in a hut comprising with as many as 15 local students altogether. But the person was not contented with what he had done till then as he had no word in his dictionary as "Impossible" since his point of belief was more than what ordinary people have. Further, he had a conviction that - "Impossible is not something that can't be done but is something what has not been done so far." In the beginning, many a folks of that village who were thought to be great pals of the dreamer, assured their assistance but they didn't turn out in need - the need of forthcoming hindrances, if any, like financial challenges, man power, spot or location selection etc. But, none the way, these could demotivate him from taking more risks and challenges to proceed further. Perhaps the pillar of success then stood erect.
During the period 2014-15 proved to be a turning point for the school as a society - ‘Eklakhi Kisholaya’ - was formed in favour of the school, comprising with some local eminent person, teachers and farmers. Some more lands were, thus, got registered in the name of the society around the old hut. This certainly paved the way to erect reinforced concrete building for the primary section, impregnated with the basic needs of the students like good quality class rooms, facilitator, drinking water, separate toilets for girls and boys. Thus banks that were least interested to provide loans earlier, now came forward to assist the school; another hindrance of financial barrier was thus solved. Thereafter, they dreamer didn't look back. The more the fame of the institution spread across, the more the hunger of success the dreamer felt for. Thereafter, joining of a number of qualified and expert teaching staffs enhanced the creativity and performance of the institution and put it at its zenith within a couple of years.
Objective:- With the formation of the trust, the school - Eklakhi Kishalaya Vidyapith was established in the year 2014. The main objective of this school was then set to educate the village people and their descendants so that the future generations flourish in every sphere of their life. There are many tribal villages of Coch, Rajbanshi, Polia, Santhal, Jola,Musahar, etc. also around this village. The livelihood of these people was noticed far below the average capita income. They were strong, bold, diligent, assiduous and intellectual but incapable to channelize their capacity in a proper way; education was thus very much needed and so does the need of a school. Their children were also noticed to go faraway places to attend a village primary school or a teacher by crossing a number of fields miles after miles. Situation would become worst during monsoon and they would be compelled remain detached from education then. This stirred the members of the trust and took oath to educate these beautiful people as much as possible. At present, we are trying to develop the children totally by following not only academic curriculum merely but also sports, yoga, drill, moral classes, birth and death anniversary, singing, drama, drawing, painting, playing musical instruments and many more where participation of the children is a must. A computer lab is also here. We have built a separate corner comprising with a couple of teachers who constantly take care of these segments.
The SOCIETY “EKLAKHI KISHALOYA” serves few social welfare programs when it appears essential as a social crisis like flood and other natural calamities and drinking water project as per capacity.
Conclusion:- The school has now crossed a long path of 9 years in wee steps. Lots of awkward situation, disturbance of the cunning & opportunistic people, scarcity of qualified teaching and non-teaching staffs, financial obligation - nothing could become the hindrance on its pathway. Still, there are many tasks pending. We trust, we will surely achieve our goal with the praying, wishing and blessing of the common people. We salute and pay homage to those benevolent and generous persons who had passed away though but extended their helping hands directly or indirectly to our institution. At last, we cordially invite you to pay your kind visit to our school and exchange your valued opinion time to time which may pave our way wide and smooth. Thank you very much.

HOW WE STARTED
v Education for all is the main goal for setting up our institution. All members here believe that our school should be an example of total dedication to the school child. We do not have lofty aims of making huge monetary returns. But, we do believe that our institution should be welcoming and comfortable for the students.
STUDENT TEACHER RATIO
v Student teacher ratio should be kept at a minimum. The voice of the child has to be heard and his problems attended to. The teacher should be in a position to understand the mental makeup of every student that is entrusted to his or her care. This can be achieved when numbers in a classroom do not exceed unmanageable limits. We have 30 students per class as the maximum number.
FACILITIES FOR DEVELOPING INHERENT POTENTIAL
v We have tried to create a wide range of co-curricular activities. These help in widening a child’s perspective and are a perfect form of relaxation.
EXCURSIONS AND FIELD TRIPS
v It is essential that children move out of school surroundings to interact with students of other schools and we manage this through Inter-School Competitions. Such exposure is an essential part of learning as we strongly believe that our children should become independent and courageous. Excursions and visits to different places as education tours are planned as a regular feature and it is in such programs that students learn about interacting with others, besides attending to various tasks assigned to them.
LEARNING TO EMPATHIZE WITH THE LESS FORTUNATE
v We would like our students to understand that there are various facets of the society in which they live. If their parents can afford good education for them, there may be others whose situation is different. To become aware of this aspect of life is important in order to understand life in totality.
INSTILLING PRIDE FOR THEIR COUNTRY
v Students should have knowledge about the cultural and historical aspects of their country, so that they feel blessed to belong to the land where they live.
UNDERSTANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF THE ENVIRONMENT
v We would like our children to appreciate and preserve the bounties that Mother Nature bestows upon us. They are taught to be judicious when using nature’s resources.
KEEPING IN SYNC WITH TECHNOLOGY
v In this Technological era, we pay special heed to the fact that our children stay on top of the ladder in this field. They are adept at using various kinds of gadgets that open greater vistas for learning. The school has all these facilities in our computer rooms which are accessible to the students.
TAPPING CREATIVE FACULTIES
v When children go beyond text books and give vent to their innermost feelings, their reactions are a joy to behold. To get them into this mould we have dance, music, theatre visual arts, karate classes and sports activities.
MAKING THEM AWARE OF THE ADVANTAGES OF YOGA
v Yoga classes are conducted once a week, to unravel before the child, the advantages of holistic thinking.
